Health P.E.I. is providing information on services impacted by the bad weather.
All public health appointments across the province are cancelled this afternoon. That includes:
- Appointments at Community Mental Health and Addictions, 126 Douses Road, Montague, are cancelled this afternoon and the office is closed.
- Appointments at Community Mental Health and Addictions, Souris Hospital, are cancelled this afternoon and the office is closed.
Previously announced service impacts:
- Provincial Audiology appointments
- Public Health Nursing Prenatal Classes
- Public Health Dental appointments
- Public Health and Family Nutrition appointments
- Public Health Nursing appointments
- Public Health Nursing Flu Clinics
- Pediatric Psychology appointments
- Speech Language Pathology appointments
- The Eastern Kings Health Centre in Souris will close as of 2 p.m.
- The obstetrics and gynecology clinic at the Mount is closing at 12:30 p.m.
Previously announced service impacts:
- The walk-in clinic at the Harbourside Health Centre in Summerside scheduled for 4-7 p.m. this evening is cancelled.
- Afternoon appointments at the Montague Health Centre are cancelled. Those with scheduled appointments please call to rebook.
- The Morell walk-in clinic closed at 11:30 am.
Health P.E.I. is encouraging the public to call ahead if they plan to visit any of the primary care or mental health walk-in clinics or have a scheduled medical appointment.

Islanders with appointments at hospitals, clinics and other health care services are reminded to call ahead to confirm their appointment or notify staff if they are unable to make the appointment.
Islanders are also reminded to call 811 for non-urgent health care advice or 911 in the event of an emergency.
